For those of us on a strict budget since gas prices have been skyrocketing, here’s a fun, personal way to watch the movies you want, when you want:

Creating your own home movie theater, complete with popcorn machine, home theater seating…and if you wanted to make a buck or two…charge people to come into your movie theater room to watch a movie. The best part, none of the screaming children that like to sneak into public movie theatres on the weekends and cause a ruckus.

 I got around to watching Quinten Tarentino’s “Planet Terror” since it premiered on the Starz channel and needless to say it was…weird.

Call me a feminist, but I will love any movie that starts off the first 20 minutes with a guy getting his balls cut off. Call me gruesome, but I wish I could do that to a few choice men in my past.

The rest of the movie for me looked like a bunch of zombies eating each other up and the victims die and come back to life as zombies themselves. Sound familiar? Sounds like a storyline from “Dawn of the Dead”

A positive that I did like the movie was the old fashioned look to it. The picture quality looked like right out of an old movie, which is something unique you don’t see everyday. And the blood splurting rampidly everywhere was pretty cool in a gruesome sort of way.

This movie was hard for my feeble mind to follow at times, and of course the whole “machine gun leg” scene was the highlight of the whole movie.

So it was interesting to watch the first time, but now that I’ve seen it, I wouldn’t watch it again.

Ice in your drink, or no ice?
Ice in my drink, as long as it’s got alcohol in it, I’m good! Can we say…MARGHARITAS!

Shoes or barefoot?
Barefoot, but my feet get cold easily in the house so I wear a lot of toe socks. They are surprisingly very warm, but the boyfriend thinks they look really scary.

Newspapers or online news?
Online news, it’s easier and more convenient to read in my crazy life. The world is at my fingertips on the World Wide Web in a snap. And I don’t have to pay for internet news.

Zoos or amusement parks?
Zoos. I’m not much of an amusement park person since I’m scared to death of roller coasters. I love animals anyways and Nick’s daugher has been begging and reminding me to take her to the zoo, so hopefully we will get to go this Summer.

Baseball or football?
FOOTBALL! I’m from Ohio people, we’re talking Buckeye country! Go Bucks! *winner* I watch NFL too, Indianapolis Colts are my favorite team. The boyfriend’s favorite team is the New Orlean’s Saints, so if you didn’t know, we watch a lot of football.

Movies or TV?
TV. I love reality TV and Two and a Half Men. Most of all I would love to get a ginormous flat screen TV and watch some sports on TV in the comfort of my own home with a margherita in my hand and my favorite team/driver’s jersey on cheering them to victory. (Woah! That sounded very cheesy!)
